Benajarafe is located some 14 km from Malaga and the largest part of its population is to be found on the coast. Part of the village is also situated inland and this is known as Benajarafe Alto. A traditional fishing village, the main attraction is the beautiful sandy beach which extends the full length of the village and from which there are fabulous paroramic views. Other facilities include plenty of bars and restaurants, a supermarket, an excellent garden centre and golf at the nearby Añoreta golf course.
